Holly Holden

Holly is an interior designer based in Farmington, Connecticut and loves to teach others about the touches that make an interior elegant, comfortable, and timeless. She lives in a historic Federal house, Fox Hall (c.1803) with her husband Stuart. She has three darling children and six precious grandchildren!
Holly’s new television series, You Are Cordially Invited, extends an engraved invitation to viewers, welcoming them as guests in masterpiece houses containing distinguished collections of artwork. For thirty minutes viewers will explore these extraordinary houses first-hand, as they stroll the grounds, walk the halls, and sip champagne with the owners and experts. Recent episodes have included Highclere Castle (the real Downton Abbey!) and Blenheim Palace, both in England!
Holly’s style is about decorating once… for a lifetime. It is about the creation of timeless, tailored interiors rooted firmly in English tradition. The rules of this style are like a secret code that has been whispered from mother to daughter over generations. These secrets have always been inherited – until now! Holly’s book, The Pretty and Proper Living Room, is meant to be used as both a guide and a reference, and is available on Amazon.
